According to De Hosson, these beds are crucial in providing emotional support for the dying and their partners. A limited number of beds are available in the home setting, and the supplier of these beds has made them available for a trifle for a long time. That will come to an end. De Hosson now advocates the structural inclusion of these beds in insurance so that people continue to have low-threshold access to this form of care.
